Introduction:

Flower Rolls tea (Thousand Liang tea) has a simple appearance. Shaped like a tree pole, it is packaged with lattice strips, baskets, and hoops. The origin of ‘Flower’ is the shape and pattern resembling a flower bud showing on the finished tea roll, the outer packaging is a lattice bamboo basket woven with bamboo strips. Previously written as ‘roll’, ‘roll ‘refers to the production of the tea gradually forming through continuous pressing and rolling. Through continuous kneading, the tea juice and inner substance continuously overflow, increasing the stickiness and glutinosity of the tea, thereby achieving the purpose of tight forming.

Flower Roll tea is made from Anhua superior dark tea through the processes of screening, picking, wind selection, shaping and blending. Some Flower Roll tea has a kind of mushroom flower growing inside the tea body, which has now been confirmed as Eurotium Cristatum. In the production of Steamed rolls tea, the raw materials should be screened, sorted, shaped, and stacked. In the processing, it needs to be twisted, pressed, stamped, rolled, and hammered, wrapped with polygonum leaves, wrapped with brown pieces, and then tied with bamboo strips to form a cylindrical shape.
