Introduction:

Songluo-Chinese Usnea tea is a kind of green tea. It is a famous tea in history. It was created in the early Ming Dynasty and is produced in Songluo Mountain in the margin of Mount Huangshan Mountain, Xiuning County, Mount Huangshan City. The harvesting technology reached a level of exquisite proficiency as early as four to five hundred years ago, with characteristics such as green color, high aroma, and strong taste. After drinking, it makes one feel refreshed and happy. The ancients praised it as “the aroma of Songluo covers the dragon well tea”. Anyone who has tasted the tea knows that there is a slight bitterness in the first few sips, but when carefully tasted, it is sweet and mellow, which is a rare olive flavor in tea. The significant characteristic that distinguishes the tea from other famous teas is its “triple”: dark green color, high aroma, and strong taste, which are the prominent characteristics of Songluo tea.

Songluo tea is produced in Songluo Mountain. Songluo Mountain is located about 9 kilometers north of Xiuning City, facing Langyuan Mountain and Wuling Mountain. The highest peak is 882 meters above sea level, and tea gardens are mostly distributed between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. The mountain is steep, with steep cliffs and towering cliffs. Chinese Usnea trees blend in, stretching for several miles, and the scenery is beautiful. “Chinese Usnea Snow” is one of the eight scenic spots in Haiyang, Xiuning. The climate on the mountain is mild, with abundant rainfall, fertile soil, and deep soil layers. The soil is composed of weathered and fragmented black sand soil, and the ecological environment is suitable for the growth of tea trees.

Huangshan tea can be traced back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty 1200 years ago, Huangshan tea was very famous in Ming Dynasty. Huangshan tea in Ming Dynasty not only has great improvement in production technology, but also has more and more varieties. At this time, Huangshan tea has become unique and famous, and the rudiment of Huangshan Maofeng Tea has basically formed.
